Programme
The dates for the Talent Campus India are 17-21 July 2006.
Registration will take place between 9:00am and 12:00pm on 17 July. We suggest that outstation candidates arrive in New Delhi by the 17 morning or 16 evening, according to their respective train schedules. The rest of the 17 will be structured around a short orientation session, one workshop session, Talent Film screenings in the evening, and a Welcome party.
18 to 21 July are packed with workshop sessions, varying from an hour and a half to three hours each. Each session will involve a presentation or discussion by one or more guest speakers followed by an interactive discussion with the Talents. Some festival screenings will also be slotted in the Talent Campus schedule as they may be related to one of the topics or guest speakers. Sessions will begin at 9:30am to 10:00am and continue till about 6:30pm. On the evening of the 21
st there will be a Farewell Party hosted by our collaborators at Max Mueller Bhavan. There are also festival screenings after the sessions that the Talents are required to view as part of next day’s workshops.
Closer to the workshop we will send you a list of screenings related to the Talent Campus programme. Some are also festival screenings after the sessions that the Talents are required to view. Talents are requested to attend these screenings as they may be used as points of reference in the subsequent sessions. You can also refer to the Talent Campus programme right here on the website.
Talents are encouraged to attend screenings at the Osian’s-Cinefan 8th Festival of Asian Cinema (14-23 July), as long as they do not interfere with the Campus programme. We have an exciting and eclectic collection of films this year. You can find details of the festival programme on our website.
Outstation Talents who are arriving early to attend the Festival and staying till the end, are reminded that Talent Campus will only provide them with a stipend for duration of the workshop (17-21), and not the entire Festival.
Registration
We will only finally confirm your participation and send your official letter once we have received a Demand Draft for Rs. 1000/- ($22), which will be the registration fee for Talent Campus India. The DD must be made out to ‘Society for Art, Culture and Education’ and must be made payable in New Delhi. Please ensure that the draft reaches us by 30
th June 2006.
